Park
Gidea Park first stormed the charts back in the eighties with the top twenty hit “ BEACH BOY GOLD”. This Beach Boy compilation, was quickly followed by a Four Season compilation entitles “SAEASON OF GOLD”, which also charted. Gidea Park’s next hit was another collection of Beach Boy favourites, under the title of “CALIFORNIA GOLD”. Such was their success, and the demand from the public for Beach Boys and Four Seasons music so great, the decision was taken to turn Gidea Park into a touring band – that was over 15 years ago and they have not looked back since!
Under the guidance of Beach Boy member Adrian Baker, the band’s “Good Vibrations Beach Party” went from strength to strength, thrilling audiences from The Middle East to Europe.
To complement the surfing sounds of the Beach Boys, the band carry their own Hawaiian theme stage set and hold a “Surf Contest”, during which young ladies are adorned with grass skirts and garlands and invited to demonstrate their prowess and skill of staying upright on a pair of custom-made surfboards
Essentially, the password to Gidea Park’s
continuing success has to be fun. So sit back, enjoy the music, laugh at the
