Incredibly
Strange Film Band
Formed
in 1993 The Incredibly Strange Film Band are a 9-piece band that play exclusively
music from popular films and television programmes. They have performed live
regularly since 1994 and have appeared in clubs, colleges and even on national
TV when they performed a live set on Saturday Live in June 1996.
The
line up features a powerful and impressive four piece brass section, along with
a solid, funky rhythm section including double bass, drums, guitar, keyboards
and percussion. All members of the Film Band are experienced live performers
and accomplished musicians; the line up includes members of HOT CHOCOLATE, THE
COAL PORTERS and top ska veterans BAD MANNERS. The Band deliver a diverse and
entertaining night of music, including cat-daddy 70’s costume with the
emphasis on sports casual.
Whilst the onus is upon the tunes THE INCREDIBLY STRANGE FILM BAND deliver the
goods when it comes to performing delivering the tunes of Henry Mancini Lalo
Schifrin, John Barrie and many, many more with aplomb and striking punctuality.

currently in the bands set: include: The Avengers, Mission Impossible, SHAFT,
Pulp Fiction, The OO7 Theme, DISCO INFERNO, Austin Powers Theme, STARSKY&HUTCH.
