Wham!Duran
formed in 1993 because of demand for a classic 80's band, after achieving great
success with their Utter Madness tribute. People were only just getting used
to a 70's revival, and most didn't believe the 80's would be hip again. Wham!Duran
has proved those doubters wrong, taking the University circuit by storm and
being in hot demand ever since..

WHAM!DURAN have gone from strength to strength since forming. This is one of
the most danceable tribute bands, as every song is a guaranteed teen anthem.
Opening with the steamy acoustic sounds of "Faith", they then pack
the dance floor with "I'm Your Man". Classic pop songs then follow;
"Freedom", "Bad Boys", "Young Guns" …Attention
to detail is everything, with even the crickets at the start of "Club Tropicana"
being faithfully reproduced! Male and female vocalists mean they carry off "Wham
Rap" perfectly, and bring the party to a rousing conclusion with an epic
"Wake me up before you Go Go".
The Hysteria of the eighties wouldn't be complete without the hits of Duran Duran on the same stage - "Rio", "Notorious", "Girls on Film", "Hungry like the Wolf" and many more! The six piece band cover all the tracks with the greatest authenticity, from the girl backing vocals to the brass section (optional), even featuring ex Duran Duran session musicians, this is so close it's almost the real thing!
